Salon Forums
The traditional salon notion is a “gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring hostess or host, partly to amuse one another and partly to refine their taste and increase their knowledge through conversation and readings” (wikipedia). IGC’s Salon Forums are inspired by this salon tradition and intend to create an opportunity for bring members together for meaningful conversations that are not necessarily work related! Topics include: mother daughter relationships, social philanthropy, learning to really listen (to yourself and others), practicing patience, healthy eating, buying art, journaling, the politics of being a woman and more! Often the salon is facilitated by a guest speaker. Salons are offered bi-monthly and are 1.5 hours long. Tea and cookies are served. Members need to RSVP to attend the salon forums as space is limited in an effort to create a meaningful experience.

Business Bites
Business Bites is an informal bi-monthly lunchtime meeting where members can troubleshoot specific business challenges together. During these lunchtime meetings, members will benefit from the experience and perspective of other members. Business Bites is often framed around a specific topic focus. Topics include: time management, organizational effectiveness, staying motivated, setting goals, finding balance, how to delegate, learning how to identify and develop strategic partnerships, and more! Business Bites are held on Thursdays from 12-1:30 and they are facilitated by Amy or Adelaide. Business Bites is BYOL (bring your own lunch!)
