JESSICA PORTER
Founder/Director, Raandesk Gallery of Art

"In Good Company is a perfect combination of professional work environment, a real business address for my virtual venture, and a true community of entrepreneurial women. I learned about it through Ladies Who Launch, and I use IGC in so many ways - for space rental to work, as gallery space to showcase my artists, for educational seminars and programs, to engage with other professionals that are facing similar challenges, and as a 'home base' for meeting clients and vendors. It's truly been a perfect vehicle to help me grow my online business, literally and figuratively. The atmosphere and environment are perfectly suited to my gallery, and I recently mounted an exhibition in the space, which as received a great response from fellow IGC members and visitors alike. I've partnered with other entrepreneurs for gallery events, and look forward to more successful connections in the future."

JUDITH STEINHART, EdD
Health and Sexuality Consultant

“As soon as I read about In Good Company, I emailed Amy and Adelaide to congratulate them on their new business. I saw IGC as a way to reduce the isolation women entrepreneurs feel as they create, maintain, and grow their own businesses. Amazed at the warm, enthusiastic, and immediate email response I received from Amy and Adelaide, I knew I wanted associate myself with IGC. More than anything I felt welcome and valued. Since then, I’ve attended one member’s program, Business Bites, and reserved space for two upcoming programs of my own. The workspace itself is versatile, professional and calm. I’m thrilled to be part of a community where members are committed to enthusiastically sharing information, ideas, and perspective—to say nothing about the list of new resources I’ve found!

EMILY WOLPER
“Since I founded my company in 2000 I have worked from home and have met with clients in their homes or at Starbucks. For years I have longed for a comfortable and accessible office space that I could use on a flexible basis. I have also sought community – a challenge for a self-employed entrepreneur. In Good Company workspaces is as wish granted. Amy and Adelaide have designed my dream workspace. The welcoming, beautiful space, combining conference rooms with solo work cubbies and a lounge area is ideal. The community of entrepreneurs is engaging and fantastic – and this is just the beginning!”

ERIN KEATING
"I was introduced to Amy and Adelaide through a colleague and from the moment I heard about In Good Company Workplaces, I knew I wanted to be involved. I run a networking and support group for women artist/entrepreneurs called Broad Collective, and I also teach a class called Prototype Workshops that helps solo performers to develop original material. I immediately began thinking about how my businesses could take advantage of the IGC space and become part of the IGC community.

I ended up teaching my most recent workshop in the conference room at IGC and the beauty and style of the space immediately set the bar high for my students and made them feel that I expected their work to match the polish and professionalism of the room we were in.
I'm currently looking to do a Broad Collective event at IGC to introduce the two kindred communities. I applaud Amy and Adelaide for their entrepreneurship and for bringing such a beautiful, welcoming and much-needed resource to the creative women of NYC."

Broad Collective (www.broadcollective.com) is an organization that creates community and opportunities for women artist-entrepreneurs. Prototype Workshops (www.prototypeworkshops.com) offers courses for writer-performers to develop fresh new material, business savvy and a brand identity that supports their one-of-a-kind artistic voices.

BROOKE THOMAS
“When a friend of mine told me about In Good Company I was so relieved. I had been trying to launch my first entrepreneurial venture, finderseaters.com, and felt as if I was stumbling around blind- always running into unanticipated road blocks and trying to do it all and learn it all myself. I knew I needed support and resources, but hadn’t come across any that particularly resonated for me. Once I was introduced to In Good Company I finally found a place that fit. Having a group of women who’ve been there before, or who are currently going through the same stuff, has helped me make more progress in my business with less stress. The networking resources are also wonderful, and they’ve introduced me to other In Good Company members who have become key resources in building my business. I’m so grateful to have joined!”
